Monday March 12 Departure from Heathrow will be on the 22.00 Malaysia Airlines flight MH1. Complimentary meals and drinks will be served.

Tuesday March 13 Arriving in KL at 18.20 you are transferred to the connecting flight MH149 to Melbourne.

Wednesday March 14 Our coach will be awaiting your 09.05 arrival at Melbourne airport and will transfer you the short distance to the Travel Inn Hotel for the first of your five nights stay. This modern property is located in the heart of the city, close to public transport and Melbourne's vibrant Italian Quarter. The Travel Inn has its own restaurant, bar and small swimming pool. All guest rooms are equipped with TV, telephone, fridge, air-conditioning and marble bathroom. A limited number of upgrade rooms, complete with jacuzzi, are available at a supplement of £145 per room. Rest of the day at leisure.

March 15 to 18 Four days to discover the delights of this cosmopolitan city. F1 practice begins on Friday when the impressive support programme moves into full swing. Saturday sees the Grand Prix drivers battle for grid positions with several other races scheduled for later in the day. The big race takes place on Sunday and will be backed up with a variety of spectacular activities. Away from the track, experience one of the popular optional excursions which include river cruises, vineyard tours, the Great Ocean Road and the Phillip Island penguins.

 

March 19 to 21 The Sydney portion of your holiday is exactly as described in Tour OZ2.

Thursday March 22 Morning at leisure before returning to Sydney airport for the 15.40 Malaysia Airlines flight MH122 to Kuala Lumpur. Arrival is scheduled for 20.50 and our coach will be waiting to transfer you into the heart of the city. Reservations for four nights have been made at the luxurious Hotel Equatorial, a first class hotel with spacious, well equipped rooms, swimming pool, five superb restaurants and two bars.

March 23 to 25 Three days at leisure in KL. Your Tour Manager will be on hand to assist with excursions and sightseeing. Transport is provided on Saturday for those who wish to see qualifying. On Sunday you will be taken to Sepang for the Malaysian GP.

Monday March 26 Another full day at leisure. You will be returned to the airport for the 23.40 homeward flight MH2. Complimentary meals and drinks will be served en route.

Tuesday March 27 Your flight is due to touch down at Heathrow by 05.50 this morning.

Built around Albert Park's lake, this fast, flowing circuit is a favourite of drivers and spectators alike. Superb access and organisation together with the fullest of support programmes makes Melbourne a real winner. We recommend the new 4-Corner Ticket for maximum flexibility and value. This package includes Brabham Grandstand (on the inside of the first corner at the end of the pits straight) for Sunday, Fangio (opposite pits) for Saturday, Jones (outside Turn 1) on Friday and Clark (on Turn 9) on Thursday. All four of these stands feature numbered seats with "superscreen" TV opposite. Prices valid only until 22nd December 2011 when increases are anticipated.
