"We always have excellent service and a great time with MRI but this trip went above and beyond what you would expect from a tour operator."

Budapest, built astride the River Danube, is one of Europe's greatest cities. With the circuit just a few miles to the east there will be plenty of time to enjoy the wealth of tourist attractions, lively nightlife and guaranteed sunshine which makes this one of Formula One's favourite playgrounds. Despite being a permanent fixture on the calendar since 1986, the Hungarian has only ever been disrupted by rain once, when Jenson Button took his maiden victory in 2006. In addition to our weekend trip, we also offer a longer option which has become a popular choice with regular clients. This two-centre holiday combines Austria's best loved city with the Hungarian capital.
Jenson Button set the fourth quickest time in qualifying for the 2006 Hungarian race but an engine change penalty saw him line up for his 113th start way back on row seven. Jenson's smooth style and natural aggression began to pay dividends in the wet conditions. Two midfielders were dispatched off the grid, two more by lap three, then Massa's Ferrari. Fisichella was next before Michael Schumacher was humbled on lap seven. Ahead in the blinding spray, Raikkonen misjudged the intentions of a backmarker and crashed heavily. Button now closed in on Alonso who held the lead until, emerging from his pit stop, a wheel parted company with the Renault. "I expected to be nervous in this situation but it was fantastic," enthused the young Englishman, soon after scoring his maiden F1 victory, "I just wanted this part to last longer. I didn't want it to stop!"

RACE TICKET SERVICE

General Admission at the Hungaroring gives access to roughly half the circuit, from just after Silver 8 around to Silver 3, although some of the best vantage points have been lost as new stands have been erected. All stands offered here are numbered, but the only covered stand is Super Gold. A limited number of weekend tickets (except Silver 8 & Red Bull Stand) for children under 18 may be available at a reduction of 50%. It is likely that all the stands below will have sight of a TV screen in 2012. Priority prices are available until 27th January 2012, or until stocks last.
