Thursday September 9 Our London-Dover coach service departs at 16.00 for the 19.30 sailing to Calais. After the short sea crossing your luxury touring coach commences the drive southwards making appropriate meal stops. Friday September 10 You reach Switzerland by early morning and a stop will be made near Lucerne for breakfast. From here the road climbs high into the Alps, via the St. Gotthard Pass and through some of Europe’s most breathtaking scenery, before crossing the border into Italy. You reach Como by lunchtime and, after checking-in, the rest of the day is at leisure. Accommodation with en suite bathroom has been arranged at Hotel Plinius, a recently refurbished 3-star establishment close to the town centre and the lake. Saturday September 11 If you wish to visit practice and qualifying today you will be driven to Monza without extra cost. Alternatively, spend the day relaxing and sightseeing in Como or join our optional excursion. Sunday September 12 After breakfast you will be taken to the circuit for the day’s events. On completion of the racing rejoin your coach and return to Como for a third night. Evening at leisure. Monday September 13 This morning is free before an early afternoon departure for the homeward journey, stopping en route for meals. Tuesday September 14 Arriving in Calais you board the ferry for an 06.30 arrival in Dover. Our Dover-London coach service reaches Victoria at 09.45 approx. Single Room Supplement: £72.

Tuesday September 7 Departure from Heathrow will be on the 10.15 British Airways flight BA728 to Geneva. Your coach will be waiting here to commence the drive along the north bank of Lake Geneva. After a stop in Montreux for lunch and sightseeing you climb up into the Alps towards Villars. After checking-in the rest of the day is at leisure. The Eurotel Victoria offers first class accommodation with indoor swimming pool and sauna, as well as restaurant and bar. September 8 and 9 At leisure in Villars. This popular Swiss resort is situated on a south-facing slope in the Vaud Alps at an altitude of 3,900 feet. Just relax in this magnificent setting or try your hand at riding, tennis, swimming, golf, climbing or exploring the well-marked mountain trails. An excursion to Gstaad and the little fortified town of Gruyeres, home of Switzerland’s best known cheese, will be offered. Friday September 10 Today a mid-morning departure from the Eurotel Victoria takes you even higher into the Alps to the St. Bernard Pass where you cross the border into Italy. After a lunch break in the ancient town of Aosta the spectacular scenery continues until the coach joins the Como-bound Autostrada. You arrive at Albergo Firenze during the late afternoon, and the evening is at leisure. This popular 3-star hotel occupies a prime position in the heart of the Old Town, just a few steps from the lakeshore. All guest rooms are equipped with satellite TV, mini-bar and air-conditioning. September 11 and 12 Details as per Tour IT1. Monday September 13 This morning you head northwards, crossing into France via the Mont Blanc Tunnel. General Admission allows access to a good percentage of the circuit and is fine for Friday (when there is no extra charge for grandstands) but rather crowded on Sunday. All grandstands offered below have a view of a large screen. Seats are numbered on Sunday. Centrale, Left Laterals, Right Laterals and Parabolica are covered. There are no reductions for children. All tickets are valid for 3 days. Priority prices are available only until 28th January 2010; normal prices are valid until 31st May 2010.
