Wednesday October 6 Departure from Heathrow will be on the 20.25 Air China flight CA938 to Beijing. Thursday October 7 Having connected with flight CA159 you arrive in Nagoya at 21.00 and a coach will be waiting to take you to your hotel for the first of your five nights stay. Rooms have been reserved at the luxurious Tokyu Hotel in the centre of Nagoya. The Tokyu boasts a choice of six bars and restaurants together with a business centre, shopping arcade and 25 metre indoor swimming pool. October 8 to 11 Four days at leisure. Nagoya Castle, a spectacular example of traditional Japanese architecture now houses a museum of armour and ancient treasures. The Tokugawa Museum of Japanese Art, the third century Atsuta-jinju shrine and the recently redeveloped Nagoya Harbour are also well worth exploring. |
Transport will be provided on Saturday for those of you who wish to see qualifying. On Sunday you will be taken by coach to Suzuka (approx 40 miles) for the Japanese Grand Prix. Tuesday October 12 Rejoin your coach for the short drive to Nagoya airport. The homeward flight CA160 departs at 09.20 and meals and complimentary drinks will be served.
