Wednesday May 12 Departure from Heathrow will be on the 13.55 British Airways flight BA354 direct to Nice where a coach will be waiting to transfer you across town to your hotel. May 13 and 14 Two days at leisure on the Riviera. If you wish to attend Thursday’s practice sessions you can make your way into Monte Carlo by rail.

May 15 to 17 Three days at leisure with Saturday & Sunday transfers to Monte Carlo (only 15 miles away) included. See Tour MC4 for full details.

Tuesday May 18 After a leisurely morning you will be taken the short distance back to Nice for the 15.25 flight BA345 to Heathrow.

Friday May 14 Departure from Heathrow will be on the 13.55 British Airways flight BA354 direct to Nice where a coach will be waiting to transfer you across town to your hotel. (later flight available at additional cost). Rooms with air-conditioning, TV and telephone have been reserved at the 3-star Hotel Kyriad in central Nice. Alternatively, pay a supplement to change to any of the alternative hotels shown in price panel (below). Evening at leisure.

Saturday May 15 Today you can take advantage of our free coach service to Monaco (only 15 miles away) for qualifying and the supporting events, or relax and soak up the sun on the Riviera.

Sunday May 16 After breakfast you will be taken to Monte Carlo for the full day’s events. On completion of the racing rejoin your coach and return to your hotel.

Monday May 17 Time free for last minute independent sightseeing before being taken the short distance back to Nice for the 18.10 flight BA355 to Heathrow (earlier flight available at additional cost).

Charming 3-star hotel in the very centre of Nice. Well equipped air-conditioned guest rooms. Own restaurant and bar.

Hotel Elysee Palace, Nice (Hotel Code: “E”)
Luxury 4-star hotel overlooking the Baie des Anges. Superb facilities include restaurants, bar and panoramic roof-top pool. Rooms have marble bathrooms and mini-bar in addition to all the amenities you would expect from this calibre of hotel.

A major development of the circuit since 2004 has seen the pits “reversed” so they face towards the harbour. This has considerably enhanced the view from Stand L and Stand T (the Upper Rows of which have a good view across the track to the pits).This year all tickets are available on a “day to day” basis. If you buy Saturday & Sunday grandstand tickets in the same price category we will supply, on request, a similar Thursday ticket free of charge (subject to availability). Admission is free on Friday when holders of a Saturday or Sunday ticket are likely to be offered a free pitwalk. Secteur Rocher tickets give access to the Rock of Monaco overlooking the harbour. Although set back from the track, it is possible to view a good percentage of the circuit from this elevated, but often crowded, standing area. Z1 is an alternative standing area. All grandstands are numbered and uncovered. Stands B, K, L, M, O, T & V have a view of a giant screen. We anticipate another screen will be erected for spectators in Secteur Rocher. Our seats in Stand K, L & O are not in the lower (cheaper) rows.

VENEZIA CAFE:
Extremely close to the action at the end of the pit straight the Venezia Cafe has long been an MRI favourite. This special package includes buffet lunch (drinks extra) and a numbered seat in the small private grandstand.
